I know my parents story. I've heard it from everyone. Lucas, my mom and dad, aunt Peyton and aunt Brooke. It's cool. It's sweet-ish. But I don't understand why everyone thinks love can win. Not when I've had my heart stomped on too many times.

Jamie Scott is an all-star basketball player just like his dad was in high school. He likes his friends and he likes his life except for one thing.
He hates how everyone thinks his parents love story is the center of the towns talk. It's all they talk about. Love here love there. Nathan and Haley the great couple that got married in high school. Blah blah blah.
Madison Ventura doesn't think that Jamie remembers her anymore. They haven't talked since she moved years ago and she broke his heart when she broke up with him. Now she's back and she's scared to see his face again. Will she fall back in love with the kid she loved back then? Will she be okay to find that he doesn't love anything to do with love stories anymore? Can she change that?
What will it take? Will they find love again? Or will it just fall to ruin and never be apart of the love story tradition that everyone thinks of.
