It's no longer a nation but a war zone for those who can survive and for those who die trying. 17 year old Jackie and her 19 year old brother Noel this is daily life, fighting off other gangs to survive, merely escaping the still violent fires that break out oh...and let's not forget the deadly levels of radiation just hanging in the toxic air.

I walked out of my room and closed the door. I started to go downstairs where I could hear my siblings talking. I was almost to the stairs when I heard a door open and close.
