All Prince Adam Gwydion wanted was a peaceful, happy life. Of course, having a peaceful life as a prince was close to impossible. He lived amongst 7 older siblings; Alistair, Julian, Korey, Keegan, Rupert, Bran, and Saegar. Adam was the only Prince in Nyles who would probably never be king. He was blessed with being under the age of 20, and he got to live a somewhat normal life.

I spent most of my days reading or hiding, or both. Or watching my brothers argue about who would be the next king. Then father would yell at them.
There was one thing I loved more than reading. Knight Commander Jayden. He was so fascinating. He's the youngest Knight Commander the Nyles has ever seen. He was strong and brave, beautiful and intelligent. I see him from time to time when I leave my room. He greets me with "Prince Adam, good day" or "Good morning, Prince Adam". He was the one good thing about my day.
Things with Jayden didn't get serious 'til late autumn. We got closer. A lot closer. That's what happens when your life is in danger, I guess.

There is always two stable boys ready with his horse when ever he comes by on Tuesdays or Thursdays without fail. Star is always properly groomed, and washed to perfection. Sometimes she'll have braids in her hair with ribbons. Harry has a gut feeling it isn't the two regular stable boys, since they're always immaculately clean and he knows working in a stable all day is pretty dirty. He never says anything and always comliments the boys, since his parents always taught him to treat people with kindness.
