The Dark of the Stars

Dero is the prince of the greatest planet in the galaxy, which happens to be in the middle of a bloody civil war. He thinks very little of the rebels and their cause until he is kidnapped by an opposing battle strategist. She intrigues Dero, since she is young, clever, powerful and most interesting of all: she's from a planet called Earth. She shows him a side to his world that he's never seen before, and for the first time in his life Dero realizes that his planet may not be the crown jewel of the galaxy but actually just a war torn planet full of suffering people.
