In another life Rhyder's family was whole not fractured, in another life her brother was an annoyance not a lifeline, in another life Rhyder was an elite gymnast not a cheerleader and in another life she wasn't living in Bennett, TX next to Macon and Milo Mackenzie.

Rhyder's family is recovering from the scandal brought about by her father's abandonment. Her brother, just one year older, seems to pick up right where he left off at their old school, but Rhyder (who spent her days and nights training) had nothing to pick up. When Rhyder accidentally stumbles into a Try-Out for Bennet Elite-- the trajectory of her high school life is forever changed.

Not your average girl. Not your average cheerleader. Rhyder is more than a stereotype.
