Raven hasn't had a good life but it starts to change the day a new kid, Grim, shows up. Grim doesn't really talk to anyone he just stares, but soon he becomes irritable and Raven takes notice. When we were talking about our future jobs we all were waiting for Grim to speak, the answer he gave was terrifying. I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend. Sometimes the best thing you can do is move on, that's what Cassedy has always been told. But when she 'dies', she isn't ready to go. The Grim Reaper is waiting for her to help her pass into the great beyond. The afterlife. Heaven. That bright light at the end of the tunnel called life. But she cannot pass over. She is tethered to earth by her heart. It is being kept beating by a ventilator that is forcing air through her lungs when her spirit is long gone.
