"Don't speak to her, boy. She's got the devil's blood runnin' through 'er veins."

"It's not the devil. It's magic."

This is not Salem in the olden times. The sleepy little town of Kismet is known for nothing other than being stuck in the past. Girls marry young and boys become men and nothing less. Religion is the heart and soul of Kismet, and the Devil is always seen in places he isn't.

Songbird is more famously known as the Devil's Girl, and locks herself away on the shadowy house on the hill. She is nothing more than a gifted witch, using her magick to create beautiful gardens and bringing rain upon the newly cleaned cars of the neighbors who vandalize her home.

Josiah is in the darkness. As the son of the town's pastor, being gay was a death sentence for him. With his secret buried under the title of varsity football captain and the head cheerleader as his girlfriend, things are looking very bleak.

When he wanders into Songbird's garden on a dare, their private lives may become a little harder to hide.

Heart and Soul [bxb]

66 parts Complete

Carter Parrish lived a happy, simple life with his mom, and knowing she had found her way back to love was the best news he could have ever received. But love leads to marriage, and marriage brought him a new stepfather, a new house, six new stepbrothers and one especially obnoxious stepsister. When the place he is meant to call home starts to feel like a test to his good-will and patience, Carter needs an escape. He might find just that where he least expects it, after meeting a smart boy with a snarky sense of humor and a secret he doesn't seem to good at hiding, who just so happens to be his football coach's son. Somebody said "change is inevitable, growth is optional". Carter just wished they had left a footnote about how hard it can be. *STORY CONTAINS MULTIMEDIA*
