"How would you feel, if you had to force yourself to support the relationship because you love your friends?" I can feel myself getting weaker and weaker, less and less willing to keep talking. I can no longer see, I can no longer distinguish the difference between the rain and tears. Either way, they are equally meaningless to me. "And every time from now on that you heard their names together you would need to put on a fake smile? How would you..." "Shut up!" Mackenzie yells back, punching me hard in the side of my face, throwing my head to the side. I stay like that, awestruck, motionless. "Stop being so damn weak." _________________________________________________________________________________ The plane lands at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. It's been a while since I've been here, the pollution and smog in the air seem to have worsened rather than gotten better, visibly tinting all the glass buildings with a light yellowish-brown. The airport hasn't aged well, pieces of its art are already beginning to fall apart and look messy, making it seem graffiti covered rather than decorated. I leave the airport, heading to an unfamiliar home, I watch as familiar buildings fly by the cab window, giving me a sense of nostalgia, pain, and regret. And so, I spend my life, chasing a ghost.

And you most certainly aren't worthless." I gasp to breathe, and he continues talking. "What you are is an amazing person who hasn't let all of this crazy bullshit affect her. You handled it like a champ. What you are is a strong, brave being that has stood by my side." I breathe as he leans closer. "What you are, is the love of my life...."
