"Life's a bitch, you gotta go out and kick its ass."

Riley is the definition of any school's bad girl. She does what she wants, to who she wants, when she wants and listening is most definitely not a word in her vocabulary. Riley follows nobody's orders, and that includes family.
When her mother lands a bombshell on her, things go from bad to impossibly worse. Now bearing the knowledge of her mother's lifelong lies, she knows her life will be different from what it used to be. Will having a brother help her through it or prove to be a burden?
Add One Direction to the mix, what could possibly go wrong?

50 parts Complete
Tatum Williams, 17 years old, is finally in her last year of school. For her the years seemed to drag longer than usual. Tatum and her mom move around frequently for reasons she likes to keep secret. She will be attending her senior year of high school in her fourth school in the past 3 years. Because they move around so often, people didn't see the need in learning her name so she was always called new girl, rumors would spread about her, and she was bullied. She only had one friend the past 3 years and she didn't stick around long. She thought people had found out about her past somehow and that was why they were so cruel to her. Maybe just maybe this year would be different because instead of moving to a different state they moved out of the country to London. She can finally truly be herself. No one would know about her past and wouldn't have any idea who she was, or she had hoped. On her first day, she comes face to face with a certain boy who's looks and kindness (which she didn't get much of) catch her off guard, but when talking to him she feels a set of eyes watching them and sees it's another boy. Out of these two boys one isn't who he says he is and the other knows exactly who that person really is. Tatum has one rule: don't fall in love because the next day she could be leaving. But will her heart let her stick to that rule? Who will she fall for, and how much pain will she have to go through to find out the one she may be falling for is the one who isn't who he says he is? Will the one who is right for her save her before she gets hurt? Can he get her to open up about her past and fall for him, who is everything she needs?
