Stealing? Plotting? Fighting? Fairly normal for Key. Questing with princes, fighting eternal evil, and stirring an ancient magic that could destroy the world? Not so much...

While the rich men rest on piles of gold and their well-to-do wives dance around into pretty lace dresses, those who aren't nearly as fortunate are left to the streets. Key, always fascinated with stories of honorable heroes she lived for as a child, tries to help out as many as these people as she can.

Nonetheless, she is a thief, an a notorious one at that. No one knows her real name, as she goes by many, but there's one unanimous nickname that has stuck with her. Lady Thief. She's not your typical lady. She's not elegant, charming, endearing, patient, or even extremely friendly.

One day our Lady Thief has an unfortunate run in with some royalty, and, somehow, tangled in a web of lies, she's managed to get herself sucked into following King Cavalierre's two sons in a political campaign, so they can win the trust of their people. Somewhere along the way, she ends up on a quest that could stir up an ancient magic, which threatens to rip the new world- and her heart- apart at the seams. Things have just gotten complicated for our Lady Thief.
