The Ghost Girl

Everybody says Kari McCarthy is a ghost.
She's the girl who never speaks, never makes friends and tries to blend into the walls. Pale lifeless face, dark hair and haunting eyes. The girl that visits the cemetery to read her plaid journal everyday after school. The girl who lives in the house downtown where no living soul would dare to cross. Some say she's a weirdo. Some say she's just a freak.
Everyone agrees that shes a ghost.
To Brody Spencer, the ghost girl is not the weirdest person he has seen in his life, but she is the most interesting. There was something about the ghost girl that seemed tragic, otherworldly. Maybe there is more to the quiet girl who acts like shes half-dead. Something only he can see.
When Brody discovers her secrets, he must help her do what he does best, communicate with the people nobody else can see, and race against time to find a murderer in the pages of the journal, or risk losing Kari to becoming a reality of what she has always seemed to be.
