Its the year 2023, the government have learned of people with varied and unique sets of abilities and accepted them as part of the next step of human evolution. They were known as mindsets, people that can manifest their imaginary friends from their childhood, acting as their guardian or partner, but can only communicate to their master or other mindsets. Though they do not tend to act likely, as there are time when the mindset's guardian could make them insane, to the point they go on a rampage to kill until they broke free. The level power of the mindset and its guardian is based on 5 factors: sentience, versitility, reliance, independance and trust. This is known as the SVIRT test, as it is used to determine not only how powerful a paticular mindset is, but how long will it take for its guardian to take over. Average time is 3-4 years, even shorter. But you will see soon through one individual, how childhood friends can trust you and how they can be trusted...

Eluding Memory

8 parts Ongoing

I'm a normal person, with an average job and a decent circle of friends. I try to blend into the everyday mundane routine, which includes working, trying to adult, and (who could forget?) the daily embarrassing memory parade organised by my brain. I might be a normal person but I think you'll find my story interesting: I have a superpower! Well, it may not be much of a superpower because I think we all can have it; I just found out how to harness it. Read my story to find out how I found out my powers and learnt how to use them! Fiction with elements of Fantasy, Mystery/Thriller, and Comedy! Began writing in August for the #JustWriteIt 8-Chapter Challenge
