Two hundred years in the future, scientists have discovered a "cure for human nature," little white pills. These pills are advertised to correct chemical imbalances in the brain and prevent things like violence, depression and low IQ's. Seventeen year old Lyric has never been convinced by the whole thing. And one night, when a group, called The Boycotters, announces that they have been refusing "treatment", Lyric is faced with a choice. Continue doing what everyone she has ever known believes in, or fight the system and risk her life in the process.

After worldwide walks of tears and protests of the scientific community joined by artists, and millions of people who demanded oil companies and other carbon emitters stop, a consortium of the world's wealthiest, tech and Heads of State is convened, setting down a Hail Mary manifesto with an 'everything on the table' epic approach to reestablishing a habitable planet by 2200. And because they're throwing everything at it, in hopes that something sticks, something does, one of those unexpected things that changes everything. Or to quote Bob Dylan~ Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?
