Maki Fukui is a girl from the Fukui Clan. Her clan originated with the Hyuga Clan, but war broke out. The Hyuga Clan wanted to destroy all the Fukuis, for they were half cat. They were different. The clans separated, and a assassination occurred shortly after. The whole clan was killed, except for Maki. She lives in the world, with hatred controlling her. Her dream, which she thinks she has true hope for, is to kill the people who killed her clan.

But..when she goes back to Konoha after many years, she makes friends. One is closer to her than any friend. Will he stop her nightmare like thoughts to overpower her? Will he take care of her and not turn his back like her clan?
