He was nonstop pacing back and forth in a small circle

"Paul-" Jenny said softly as she approached him

"No! I have to do this"

"You don't have to" He finally stopped pacing when she grabbed his hand "Please, don't go" She looked into his crystal blue eyes

He wrapped his hand around her cheekbone "If I don't come back. You know how I feel about you" He leaned in and kissed her forehead before he walked out of the room with his head hanging low. He never could say I love you to her, even though he does.

Angel

39 parts Complete Mature

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.
