Night

This is a poem about the Holocaust and the education which circles around it. With my personal experiences in Grade 12, we were required to study "Night" by Elie Wiesel in English, as well as the Holocaust in history class, where we had to tell the stories of the victims of the Holocaust to our classmates. I tried to convey the inhumanity while also acknowledging that it is impossible to understand the pain we are so often told about.
