Athena Elena Hermes has a unique name as you can probably tell. Its like she is straight out from all those Greek mythology books with all those gods and goddesses. No doubt she stands up to her name Athena. She never dreamt and believe that one day she will have her own prince charming with dazzling good looks or a superhero with an out of the world powers.

Prince's are too mainstream, superheroes are too but come on superheroes are much better and cooler. But no matter how dazzling a prince is or strong a superhero is if the damsel in distress is as stubborn as Hades wanting to destroy all of Zeus creation in her belief on love and life.

What would happen if something life changing occurs in Athena's life shaking her belief and leading her to finding herself. Her voice. Her calling. Will she come out a victor? or a mess.

Highest Rank - #449 in Paranormal ARDEN SERIES: BOOK 1 Paranormal Romance "Arden, you're an amazing girl," He started off quietly. "You might not be able to see it, but you're capable of doing incredible things. If it's anyone that can get us through this...it's you." Zane said slowly. **** Arden is a disparate. Meaning she's different in kind; definitely not like other people. In a world where people, gods, goddesses, and creatures of Greek Mythology fit into modern society, Arden is one of those people. Her mother is Athena, goddess of wisdom and creative arts. Just like her mother, Arden is bright, clever, and extraordinary. Like Arden, All disparates are offsprings from a Greek mythical being and a human; they're demi-gods. They possess certain powers that are unique to their being. When Arden and her best friend Ace -the son of Apollo- transfer schools, they quickly make some new friends, and in time they find out their new friends are disparates too. In fact, there are a few attending the school. When a group of not-so-good disparates put a dangerous plan in action, it's up to her and her friends to stop them to save what they believe in. It's all up to them, the son of Ares, the daughter of Nike, the son of Apollo, the daughter of Artemis, and the son of the one and only powerful god, Zeus. Follow Arden and her friends on their journey of love, hate, friendship, and betrayal to save the world and Mt. Olympus. •Not a Percy Jackson Fanfic•

The Medusa Deception

30 parts Complete

Dreams. They're only dreams. Strange, brutal dreams, straight off the pages of an ancient Greek mythology book. That's what Mandy Burkhardt tells herself, stocking shelves at the Occult Bookstore in Chicago. Her boss senses more. He feels something. An awakening. The prophecy. The others can, too, even if they can't quite put a finger on it. As the hidden power inside of her grows, an ancient spell comes to life, compelling her back to her rightful time and place: ancient Greece, a barbaric era of witches and gods, gorgons and oracles. Witnessed by new friend, Ryan Taylor, Mandy's disappearances can no longer be denied. Together, they try to discover what's happening to her and why but in the process become targets in a deadly and sinister plot. Caged, trussed, shackled and hunted, Mandy must come to terms with her past and fight for her future in a bloody battle to the finish with even more at stake than she knows. * * * Bringing legend back to life in this present-day fantasy thriller, the Medusa Deception gives readers a glimpse of ancient Greece and the gods - their thirst for power and revenge - their treachery and lies.
