Mark hasn't been on one single date for the past four and a half years. Not because he isn't attractive to the ladies.. No, it's because he's loved one single person unconditionally for the past four and a half years.. four and a half years of unrequited love.. and that's the simple (or maybe not so simple) reason for his celibacy - the handsome, deep-voiced Vincent. And the day that Vincent shows some interest in Mark is the very same day that Mark gets his heart broken in a million pieces.
Six months later, and his heart's finally starting to feel something other than heartache again, he gets transferred for a two months period to the Netherlands. One day on his way home from work he meets Vincent for the first time since the heartbreak. And Vincent's a whole new man with a whole new determination.

| ManxMan | - Historical Fiction - Strong SEXUAL Content | Tossed aside for his sexual preferences, a young lord is abandoned by his family. But, he isn't alone for long as a towering, rather intimidating and...handsome man happens upon him at the lowest point in his life. However, this man doesn't look upon him with judgment in his eyes. There is a sort of unspoken sympathy, and it shows itself well enough when he is swept off his feet and taken to the man's home. Untouched, unjudged and given a place to stay, this young lord will come to find he's been given a second chance. But he's afraid. Of what? (This story is based on a character introduced in 'The Beauty of Coincidence'. You don't need to read that one, but a piece of useful information would be that Edgar works for someone named Norman Ramsey, a man who has accepted that his own son is gay (he is not homophobic even though it's the 1820s, and Edgar is extremely loyal to the name of Ramsey). Enjoy!)
