Aftermath of World War 3

I put my hand to the thick glass, shivering as the heat in my hand transferred to the glass, leaving my hand cold. I brought my face closer to to glass staring out at the dark murky waters. My breath fogging up the glass i snapped out of my haze. i sighed turning around and leaning my back against the glass. i close my eyes trying to block out the sounds of the city. I slide my back down the glass so I'm sitting with my head resting on my knees. Just another month and I'll be 18 and out of here, one more month and I can be free, well to see the outside world. Excitement, or nervousness was bubbling in my stomach. My hands get clamy at the mere thought. I can do this, I whisper to myself and stand up walking back to the city.
