Lux Morgan is a normal teenager, except for the fact that she is the president’s daughter. When her parents announce that she will be getting married to a guy that had been destined to her since they were both born. She doesn’t know how to react, she’s terrified and totally against it.
Lux takes the risk and finds the courage to actually sneak out of the white house, and go on her own. One thing though, Lux has never been without body guards, or her parents. Always in the white house it seemed. Afraid and hopeless, she stopped at a convenient store and rested, but only to be confronted by the intimidating Jacy Brown.
He’s coldhearted, and used to getting his ways. Once he finds out that Lux is the president’s daughter, and that the Secret Service is off to find her, he jumps on the challenge to run from the secret service, ready for the obstacles ahead. Little do they both know, even through their constant banter and sarcastic remarks to each other. They start developing feelings for each other. Will Jacy have enough time to tell her how he feels or will she have to go on with the arranged marriage?
