I stood at the edge of the pier, watching as the waves fiercely crashed against each other. Salt water sprayed on the cement, drenching the bottom of my frayed jeans. I was thousands of miles away from home - yet still, my heart was content. For the first time in months, I felt truly happy.

                                                                             ~ ~ ~

After the tragic loss of her mother, Danielle Healey decides to attend college closer to her father and his newfound family. It is here where she meets Mason Turk, a man with big dreams and a troubled past. Almost instantly, the two develop an unspoken bond. Will that bond be strong enough to outlast Danielle's unaddressed emotional trauma and Mason's past? Or will the two simply become ships in the night?

All That Matters [COMPLETE] by RomanceWriter2000

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Basically, this is just a feel-good summer read, and I hope I've brought you some enjoyment at least. xx RomanceWriter2000 :)
