a fic narrative heavily derived from an assortment of indie romance cult classics like 500 days of summer, the spectacular now, nick & norah's infinite playlist, blue valentine, the art of getting by and ultimately, 6 years by hannah fidell. this story chronicles the 6 year relationship of Tom + Zendaya (fictional relationship); two young actors who meet at a casting call for the same movie and ultimately, fall in love over a series of dates. Meeting at a blossoming era of both of their careers, the two begin their relationship with wet feet, knowing nothing of true commitment yet engaging in an intensely committed relationship full of self-exploration, tearful sundays, sex, first loves and failed attempts at finding donuts at 2am. think of this fic as different and abnormal to your run-in-the-mill fanfiction, almost like reading the script to a cute, under-financed, indie drama that was shelved by a young writer living in palo alto...?
