Miasto, które powoli umierało, udręczone przez lata wojen, klęsk żywiołowych, a zwłaszcza przez Czarną Śmierć - plagę, którą jakby na zwieńczenie panowania stworzyli ludzie. Chorobę dotykającego każdego bez wyjątku, epidemię, która pożarła miliony, a która teraz tylko czeka, by położyć łapska na kolejnych istnieniach. Kopuła Avalonu kiedyś już upadła, wtedy jednak ludzie w jakiś sposób uniknęli zagłady... Jednak biada tym, którzy uważali, że to koniec niebezpieczeństw. Że Avalon było wieczne.
