Ariana West's parents have always been overbearing and pushy, they lose their minds over her getting any grade less than an A but it becomes a whole new kind of overbearing when they start sending her to therapy because of her abusive boyfriend. After all, she can't help who she loves and he definitely can't help if he has anger issues....right?

When her parents finally have enough of her rebelling behavior because of him and her constant bruises, they send her to a boarding school far away so he can't reach her, at least not physically. They hope that the distance will make her forget about him and help her find another, and better guy. Ariana of course thinks that loving anyone besides him is impossible, that's when Zane Bray comes into the picture.

Can he really make her forget about her boyfriend? Or does the moon goddess have something else in mind?
