This was unusual, I was normally home alone for a few hours before my parents arrived. "That's weird, why is everyone home?" I asked out loud. It was more for me then anyone else.   "Aren't you home for a few hours by yourself?" Leslie questioned, her brown eyes staring into mine.   "Yeah, I hope nothing bad has happened. Well only one way to find out" I said as I gathered up the courage to walk in.   On the inside I was freaking out, my parents would only come home early if there was an emergency. I unlocked the door to hear voices coming from the living room.   Dropping my bags I stopped dead in my tracks, one voice sounded very familiar a little too familiar. No it couldn't be him, we moved away years ago. He wouldn't have the nerve to face me after what he did, coward.   Slowly dragging my feet I made my way to the living room. The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me.
