They looked at her, whether in awe or fear one could not tell, but looked at her all the same. 
Her darker than blood red eyes, and the veins that defined them, settled back to her normal emerald, and her pointed fangs slowly retracted as she made her way back to the little corner of the small cell they'd put her in.
"They call me a heretic, the original heretic, I probably would have come up with something better but, how vain is it to name your own species" she said, as if she hadn't just revealed to the lot of them that she was an 1000 year old blood sucking witch who for the past year had faked being in love with the mayor of Star City.
