The story begins in 1838 when the Mormons were prophesied to leave to Missouri on the Lord's errands given by revelation through Joseph Smith Jr.
Christoper and his family begin their journey but encounter some unsettling Missourians. This then turns into an unfamiliar portion of the Mormon's history known as the Mormon War in 1838.
