Hazel Wilde likes to think she's pretty ordinary.
She lives with her adoptive parents, John and Marissa, and goes to Westbridge high.
She's terrified of wolves, although she's never met one, and she's got a pinch of anxiety.
But so far, Hazel's doing pretty well.

On her sixteenth birthday, that all shatters.
