Teddy Owen Hawkes committed his first crime at the age of eleven.
Ever since, he's been locked up in Vale Garden's Psychiatric Institution for the Criminally Insane. He's a thief, a convicted murderer, and an utter psychopath.

Now, eight years later, Hawkes is finally released - but not quite free. He's tied down by his frequent visits with his therapist, and matters only worsen when he's given a caretaker to watch over him.

Meet Jaime Allendale; a sweet yet stubborn young lady who needs money to pay for her grandmother's surgery. Taking care of a registered criminal was the last thing she had expected when she signed up for the job.
Hawkes hated her and she hated him. All they had to do was get these six months over with, and they'd never see each other again.
But it won't be easy.

Staying out of trouble isn't quite possible when you're stuck living with Teddy Owen Hawkes, because often times, trouble comes to find you.
