My name is Elizabeth Marie Johnson, and I am 17 years old. My parents lost their lives in a car accident when I was very young, so I was sent to live with my aunt in a town enclosed in a society where freedom is hard to find and love is not acceptable. There is so much structure in the state of Ohio, where I live, that there are bound to be rebels. These people are who I have been taught to fear. What will happen when I become one of them? The plot of this story was inspired by a book called Delirium by Lauren Oliver, and I finished reading very recently. (It's a REALLY good book (in my opinion) and you should definitely read it) Right now, I am planning on this story being pretty short because I don't write very often due to a lack of time and/or inspiration. Anyway, I hope you like it! Also, if you have any input or ideas, I would love to hear it! Final thing: In most (not all) chapters, I have some sort of song reference. If you can find any of them, comment where it is and I'll think you're awesome and may even give you a shout out. Hint: They are in the following part(s) (I will update this as I publish more) •Part 1, Part 3

I'm looking around to see if I'm still being followed, but I can't see anyone, so with my heart in my throat I run around the corner and sit down there. This will be my home for the night, I think and lay like a ball on the ground and hopes that he won't come after me... again. This story is about eighteen year old Caroline Jones, who at the presence spends her life on the street, hiding from her ex-boyfriend. Life looks dark for Caroline and she begins to lose the grip and is on the verge on giving up, when she one day meet a person that is nice to her for a change. He is kind and wants to help her, but does she dare trust him to help her, or will she not accept the help because she is too afraid? Will she finally have a chance to a good life again, kind of like the one she once had. Or is it too late? Follow her through, despair, loneliness, faith, friendship and love.
