For the Christmas season I decided to write what I imagine what the Nativity Story to be like if it was set in modern day. This is just for fun and I don't wish to offend anyone. Also I am following the Bible but I am using the modern calendar.
I don't know much about Modern day Israel or modern day jewish customs I mean no disrespect to them.
In 2016 Mary Blumstein is 15 and she has recently become engaged by means of an arranged Marriage decided before she and her fiancée were born. 
Joseph Silverstein is about to turn 21 and has been arranged to marry a teenager. Not ideal  but he decides to make the best of it. Since they were friends sort of. used to hang out when she was 8 and he was 14. Since he used to babysit. He knows she is a good girl. But when she comes back from her Cousin Liz's house she is pregnant. At first he is hurt and doesn't know what to think. But will find out it's all a part of God's Plan.
