Brendon Urie doesn't think he can skate. He can hardly land a single jump and has been trying to for over ten years. His best friend, Spencer, is always around for moral support but hardly skates anymore. Brendon thinks it's because Spencer knows Brendon would get jealous of jumps that Brendon is far too aware that he can do. Regardless, Brendon misses having a friend to skate with. He doesn't really like to be watched by other people, but when Spencer offers to go in the morning, warm up before everyone arrives, and skate along with Brendon he does not hesistate to say alright. When they get there the next morning there is a skater there that Brendon nor Spencer have ever seen before, with thin legs and a brittle-looking frame, who somehow manages to melt Brendon's little heart without saying a word.
