(Dedicated to all the friends I've made through the Wattpad community, especially the LGBT+ community from Wattpad, and to my best friend Tara, who never got tired of supporting me in writing (and procrastinating). Enjoy! 🙃)

Deafening rants from barbaric men and cries from children were starting to fill up the entire port. Laughing people from the Taran watched as children cry. Guards cornered scared people at the center.

"This year, is the year, we start bringing people out of Quarantine!"

Everyone was happy. Even the quiet ones looked so happy. But that was before they knew everything.

This is not some "I'm-gonna-free-you-so-you-can-be-happy" shit. This is war. This is terrorism. This is death.

Once the very gate was opened, death started to linger in every person's body. Unexplained insanity was observed from everyone. Eyes became transparent red, looking so hungry for something. Something no one knows.

That day, only the strongest, the bravest, the smartest lived.

I, Sparta Smith, am one of them. I'm a survivor. I'm not named after Sparta for nothing. And if it means I have kill millions of men to be alive, I'd do it. I'll do anything to live. Theres no place for the weak here. Heartless others may say but at least we're still sane.

(OMG this is my first time publishing [I mean, this year 😂] So please pardon me if my English isn't that good or my story lacks something. English is not my first language and I'm still a newbie at writing.)

A musically talented teen with her sights set on the spotlight must find a way to get her life back when she falls in with the mob. ***** In a city where con artists make the rules and aspiring females wear sequins and dance with a pole, Melody Holiday refuses to ride on the coattails of her semi-famous grandfather. She wants the freedom to choose her own path to showbiz greatness. When a chance meeting with a handsome stranger provides Mel with an opportunity, she thinks she's landed the big one. But her grandpa isn't thrilled with the direction Mel's career is going, and it's not until she stumbles across something she probably shouldn't have that this becomes clear. Perhaps meeting the stranger with the Rocky Balboa eyes wasn't by chance. Maybe Mel is rubbing elbows with the kind of people who could take away her freedom for good. This story is loosely based on the author's feral youth. So, if you like your fiction shaken not stirred with a sprinkle of badboy on the rim, NEON GIRL delivers the goods; giving readers a dose of drama, a dash of romance, and a heaping helping of Las Vegas schmaltz. Oh, and there's a killer playlist, too. WATTYS WINNER! LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction and owned by the author. WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION. Love is a chemical reaction. When Jordan Hughes arrives at Pinecrest High School, Elliot Goldman's graduating year suddenly gets a lot more interesting. Smart, good looking and charming, Jordan isn't exactly the kind of person Elliot's used to having as a lab partner. But when they start acing their assignments, life is suddenly about more than boring lectures, bad cafeteria nachos, or relentless bullying, and for the first time ever, Elliot can't wait to get to chemistry class. As they start spending more time together outside of school, Elliot realizes he's never met anyone quite like Jordan. And then everything changes one night when Jordan kisses him, making Elliot question everything about their relationship and about himself. The butterflies start to make sense-the trouble is, right now, nothing else does. Love was the last thing on Elliot's mind. But as he begins to figure out how he really feels about Jordan, he realizes that sometimes the last thing you are looking for is the one thing you need the most.
