He sucked me in and clung to me like a serpent, squeezing until i could hardly breathe, and then he pushed oxygen back into me only to suck it all away, again and again. Yet i keep going back to him like a broken record.
What a fool i am to think he'll release me from those claws of his.

There's this silence between us that stretches longer than it should, and it wraps around my chest like a weighted blanket. My throat tightens.
