Scoundrel Evan Laine has encountered an uncharted Island in the Pacific. 

His exploration turns up a beautiful creature seeking refuge in a cavern set deep into a mountain on the island. He quickly learns this creature isn't taking too kindly to the harsh elements of winter and he's determined to return this marooned mermaid  to the deep.
