short story !! Disclaimer: this is super cringey, I wrote it when I was like 14 sooo, but they've all been edited and now they're (a bit) better ?? Hope you enjoy it :) *cough cough because I don't cough* lol Kelsey Summers & her best friend Sam are human who live normal lives with normal parents and normal boyfriends. That is until Kelsey's longterm boyfriend and her split- she finds out that werewolves exist (crazy right) and that they have mates. Their mates turn out to be Alpha Devin & Beta Shane- yes you heard me. It's like any mates love story right? Wrong. They're the alpha and beta so they're super protective, and must have their mates immediately so they do the most rational thing they could, they kidnap them, oh boy. Let's see how this turns out !! Cliches of Wattpad
My awkward rants about the cliche books on Wattpad. (The title kind of says it all, but I don't like seeing a blank Description box) I hope you enjoy my apparent ability to make people laugh. Warning: these are my spur-of-the-moment thoughts. Some stuff may or may not come across as being extremely critical or harsh, but I assure you, I'm NOT trying to tell you to do a complete 180 and delete everything cliche in your books. 5 Vile & Ignoble Tales
This is a collection of five miscreant tales: "The Grotesque There Is", "A Mere Clock", "Mayara", "The Lethargy" and "Animalia". Here are the synopses of each story in this book: "The Grotesque There Is" is actually a performance of two short stories. The first (initially called "Equine Hiring") is a mostly dialogue story about a horse in a job interview. The second tells the chronicle of the two men who stood in the rain. "A Mere Clock" is a narrative in the 1st person that tells the adventures of a mere wristwatch. At the first impact, the characters seem far from the reader, but the last paragraph ends up in a contemporary narration. "Mayara" tells the story of an egoistic girl that falls in love with a young man. Later, this man doesn't satisfy himself with her selfishness and ends up infuriating the girl, which leads to a series of tragedies and anguish, all due to the destructible retaliation. "The Lethargy" is an imaginary, almost parabolic narrative where the protagonist is a sleepy student disappointed in himself. "Animalia" is a first-person novelette of a teenage love affair between a bass player and a pretty who turns out to be a beast, making the story a real wild and raw mess. PS.: Some of these stories may present sensitive content and metaphorical representation of violence, although I do not consider any of these occurrences really timely characterised as 'mature content' since such matters are dealt with discreetly and with no compromise.
