For centuries Imps and Fairies have been fighting when Fern, the last heir to the Imp throne, has to run away for her safety. The Fairies finally decided to attack the Imp kingdom taking control and killing Ferns family. She runs away hiding and plotting for a ten years waiting for her return. She finally decides to come out of hiding and gets herself turned in. Fern figures she could learn more of what is happening on the inside making it easier for her and her soldiers to take back the kingdom, but something happens and that comes in the form of a dangerously handsome Fairy prince by the name of Titus. Looking for his Beloved, Fern catches his eye. What happens when they become a little closer than intended? Secrets are found out and a new enemy is on the side lines. Fern soon learns that she was meant for so much more. Everything takes her by surprise because that's what her life seems to be about. She plans to get her kingdom back but with a new war brewing how will she do it on her own? Will she fight with the fairies? She might but will getting closer and tricking the fairy prince to help her kingdom help at all or will she just fall into his clutches as well?
