100years 2116 classwork earth environment ila pollution shortstory

When asked to imagine our world in 100 years, teenagers of my age and even younger children normally conceptualize it to develop in two opposite directions. Firstly, technology is supposed to totally take over, as there will always be skyscrapers in one's eyesight or flying cars gliding across the sky in countless directions and the like. Or, for those with deeper thoughts, our beloved environment is going to be entirely ruined. The air, which would be overly heated by greenhouse effect must be filled with dust and foulness. Water in rivers will darken and become undrinkably toxic. The land may well dry out with cracks appearing everywhere. And so, so on...

Apart from them, I myself wonder: Why not both?

With those little thoughts, my imagination starts to produce a story...

I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. Sixteen years later of my high school life, on a rainy night, being an independent successful woman, i was still a loser in my balcony looking at the sky because i could never win what i always wanted in life, LOVE. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

"Apocalypse: Erase Everything" is a story in the future, that is a grand disaster after about 100 years. The extreme weathers was cause by effects of global warming. However, people haven't stop this pollution in order to the Terra's economic development. In the 2100s, an unknown reason makes the large chunks of glacier in Greenland and Antarctica collapse into the sea, and causes the huge wave to destroyed most of the port cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, Cape Town, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Macau. People need to move in safely place, or save the surplus cities from this disaster. A lady who predicted that disaster, but she'll change the future to save the world, or let the human go to safe location?
