The Hunting Hour- #Wattys2017

Long ago in the early 1700s, the People of the Great Britain lived in ignorance of the daunting supernatural entities and fearful beasts of legends. To protect the society from these things, a grueling, merciless competition of survival is waged to select the golden few who are to serve their country for ten years by vanquishing and keeping the beasts of the dark at bay. The second best sword fighter in his town, a 17 old, finally beat the best: his father, who in turn begrudgingly allows his son to participate in the Hunting Hour to fulfill his side of the deal. There is little hope of George ever returning alive but there may be a glimmer of hope for this boy's survival.
