Anthony was the Alpha of the Silver Moon pack. And the thought of having a mate disgusted him. He didn't want to have to share power over his pack.
Hailey lived most of her life as a rogue. In fact, she was the Alpha Rogue. She despised the thought of having a mate, as she didn't want to lose her title as Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
That is, until one day changes it all.

The walk through my territory was long and boring, as my pack was the largest in the area. I was respected by my pack, and in return I treated them with respect. Being Alpha of the Blood Moon pack was an honor, due to the fact that there were rarely ever female Alpha's.
All of a sudden I'm hit with a strong and mouth watering scent as it fills my lungs. My eyes widen and my wolf yips happily inside my head. I turned around quickly in hopes of running only to see a man staring at me, his eyes wide with shock. I stepped back, my mouth agape. Before I knew what was happening he was in front of me, grabbing my shoulders tightly. Then he said the one word I dreaded most. "Mate."
