What if the apocalypse didn't end with zombies, aliens or sickness and disease. What if instead, it was humans beings that plagued the world? More specifically, the government itself.
Effy Stonem was just an ordinary girl who wanted a normal life. With her group of friends by her side, plans to finish college and start living the dream was coming closer and closer.
But suddenly, just when everything seemed to be going right for once, strange things start happening. People start disappearing, and tempers are far to short. People are flying off the edge, ready to kill anyone that gets in their way or just because they can. Before she knows it, Effy's life is flipped upside down and she finds herself on the run with nothing but her friends by her side. Can they make it out alive, or will they end up dead or crazy like everyone else?
