I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! There are a lot of things in life that can really grind your gears - and it's apparent that as a teenager you have the ability to pick out literally anything and complain about it. This is not a story as such - more of a collection of niggles that can only be shamed and exposed through the wonder of writing.
