Oceans, Stardust, and Everything In Between

Halle McKinney is tired. Tired of feeling stressed, tired of missing her brother, tired of people asking if she's okay. One day, in an attempt to empathize with her dead twin, she almost drowns in the Atlantic, and is saved by the only other black boy in town, mistaking her self-journey for a suicide attempt. In a effort to get the boy off her back, agrees to an inane bucket list challenge to show her that "life is worth living after all", showing her that there's more to life than just ocean waves and heartbreak.
