Makoto Yuuka is a second year student attending high school.
Makoto was born with heart problems spending most of her life at home or in hospitals. Being alone for most of her life has moulded her into a very shy and timid person.
At school she goes unnoticed by her classmates and doesn't interact with anyone. During the previous year of school Makoto was absent in the hospital for majority of the time, causing her grades to drop gravelly. Who knows if she'll even graduate this year!
Fearing for Makoto's grades her home room teacher assigns one of her classmates; Takano Ryuichi who is a very bright student, to start tutoring her in her weak subjects after school!
How will the shy and timid Makoto react to having to spend 2-3 hours after school each day with a complete stranger?
