Akazu, as she has been known, is a lonely little girl. All she has known is darkness. And chains. And beatings. And cold. She's been blind for as long as she has known, and likes it that way. She relies on hearing and touch to understand life.
Until one day, her everything is taken away by a pack of soldier called the Givers. Apparently, they give life and happiness to those in need. They stop so-called villains and end violence.
A woman named Emmaleigh opens her eyes and shows her what has really been going on. Emmaleigh is apart of the warrior-goddesses known as Glows and is head of the Givers.
Akazu finds it very suspicious, good people don't slaughter other people. She has little to no answers, and is brought along their journey.
Along the way, she beings to notice she's not like other people. She's stronger, faster, and has mystical powers.
Now not only does she wish to know what happened to her "family", but who is she really?
Her normal life of pain and destruction is all coming to an end as she is forced to work for the greater good, who by the way, doesn't act very good.
