Wilk Willow Middle School is taken over by an uncontrolled system that simulates a natural environment. The Simulation is a powerful virus that hacked a school computer, making it dangerous to the students. Most of the office staff has already evacuated the borders of the system. Students who have died are put into a condenser of blankness, and are able to spectate any living student. After her best friend's death, Destiny is determined to avenge and stop the simulation, with the help of a teacher educated with Technology. Unfortunately, numerous students have thought the system was to kill one another. Now it's on Destiny to figure out how to solve the chaos.

A school class of 14 and 15 year olds are chosen to test new VR technology that will bring gaming to a whole new level, and among the students is Minecraft ultra-fanatic Jace "JD" Dekk. And when Jace learns the VR tech is simulating Minecraft, he is beyond thrilled. But there are only two ways to leave the game: one is being death in-game, and the other is to defeat the Ender Dragon and use the portal found in the End to escape.
