I found myself staring at Harry curiously across the table. In the short time of knowing him I have come to know that he is an arrogant, manipulative, perilous, astute man. The list could go on if I bored myself to do so. However there was something merely captivating about him that it made me not resist his presence. The more I thought about, the more it made since. As Nick Carraway said in The Great Gatsby, if the personality is an unbroken series of successful gestures then there was something gorgeous about that person. That was what Harry was to me, simply gorgeous; but with that beauty underneath laid a beast I did not intend to awaken. Yet I still did.
