This is the sequel to "The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound". It is recommended that you read that before reading this.

Four months have passed since the Dalton Gang, the most fearsome outlaws in the West, were sent to prison by the citizens of Two-Bit, thanks to the help of their departed friend, Huckleberry Hound. While most of the citizens left to pursue their separate careers, Quick Draw McGraw and Baba Looey remain to serve as the sheriff and deputy of Two-Bit. Since their tenure, things have been remotely peaceful.

However, that peace is shattered when the Dalton Gang breaks out of jail and heads straight for Two-Bit, swearing on revenge. When they kidnap the mayor and hold him ransom, Quick Draw, Baba Looey and Hokey's faithful horsie, Bob, give chase across the desert, determined to rescue him. But the Daltons aren't making this an easy mission, as they've got more allies and more tricks up their sleeves, and Quick Draw is going to need more help if he plans to stop these outlaws before it's too late.
