Imagine the "Light" and "Dark" sides of "The Force" were partially-sentient extra-dimensional life-forces engaged in a Secret War in our world -- A war whose warriors consist of people recruited through infection by either the Sacred Fire or the Corruption. These Awakened have been given tremendous supernatural powers but at an equally tremendous cost.

Until The Corruption infected her neighbor, Hikari Miyabe's greatest concern was preparing for her high school entrance examination. But then her neighbor killed her family and infected her. When one of the Awakened arrives and cleanses her with the Sacred Fire, Hikari finds herself caught in a secret war between supernatural forces that consumes the lives of everyone it touches.

This is a 4-part novella covering the back story of Hikari Miyabe, a major character in the forthcoming novel The Awakened.

Since she know what will happen in the future based of the stories she watched and she already accepted that she's really dead. And now she's in the body of her favourite anime character, she decide that she had a chance to change the plot of the story and save everyone that she think worth of living. Also also also, this will follow the storyline of Demon Slayer, but there will be some filler added in. This is technically a retelling of the story, so some things will be changed. For example, some characters might not die and the overall ending might be a bit happier.
