"Look at me when I am talking to you," he whispers deeply, his voice sounding more like a growl.

I stand there frozen, but ready to fight against him. I will not back down. I will not let him win. His strong arms comes around me in a swift motion, encasing me against him. I push against his chest.

"No, I'm tired of being used by you," I spit angrily into his face.

His eyes light up for a second and he surprises me with what he does next.He laughs.

It's not a menacing laugh. Its a light laugh, like if he just bought himself the gateway to heaven. I stare at him in shock.His hand comes up to cup my jaw in a stern way, eliciting a light pain. He forces me to look into his cold emotionless eyes, the smile and banter clearly gone from his face as if it was never there.

"Honey, that I cannot promise. I am the one with the power here, not you. Ella, baby, you are under my mercy. I can break you. I suggest you don't provoke me." He kisses roughly against my jaw, my breathing ragged at such a simple touch of his.

"You don't scare me Payne," I manage to say.

He continues kissing my face till his lips are centimeters away from my lips. His breath is hot and teasing. "That is not my intention," he laughs darkly. "That's not my intention at all."

And with that, his lips devour mine with no mercy.
